Children from 3 years to school age
As small children develop they do need a slightly more structured approach to their day. In addition to all the normal play activities of painting, drawing, sticking, playdoh etc, the children are encouraged to count, write their names, sing, join in and have fun.
There is a summer play, sports and fete day, Christmas play and of course a Christmas party with a very special visitor.
There are weekly outside activities to swimming and gymnastics classes, and many other visits to the farm, theatres etc. An outside teacher also visits for weekly music lessons.
We also have a well equipped all weather outside play area just for this age group, we use this continuously throughout the year.
Your child will be observed and assessed by their key carer using their individual Learning Journeys.
